Wholesale license Application

Any person or business that purchases and sells prescribed petroleum products in bulk (1500 litres or more, per transaction of petroleum products) from or to a licensed manufacturer, from or to a licensed wholesaler or to a licensed retailers or also sells prescribed petroleum products to end consumer for own consumption.(DMRE


Import and Export Permit application

Petroleum products are subject to import and export control through the South African Revenue Services (SARS) custom and excise department. Any person (local or foreign) who import/exports goods into South Africa must register as an importer/exporter.


Site and Retail License Application

A site licence is issued to a person/business that holds land or has permission from the owner of land to develop a site for the purpose of retailing Petroleum Products

 IMPORT AND EXPORT LICENSES

WHAT IS IMPORT AND EXPORT LICENSES?

Any person (local or foreign) who import goods into South Africa must register as an importer.

WHY DO I NEED A SITE LICENSE?

The Petroleum Products Amendment Act, 2003 (Act No 58, 2003) the “Act” Section 2A (1)(c) – it states that no one is allowed to own a site for the purpose of retailing Petroleum Products unless that person has a valid site licence.
